you don't care that it is not an attractive bush.
Kei Apple Dovyalis caffra
It can be cultivated as a border, screen or used to form an impenetrable hedge.
It will grow well in either full sun or light shade and will also need regular trimming in order to maintain a good hedge.
The fruits are very edible and make excellent jam.

Commonly called Wolly Lamb's Ears, or Wolly Woundwort, it's soft, silver foliage looks like it 'belongs' in an herb or a cottage garden.
It is a low growing perennial but is herbaceous by nature.

Lufa/ Loofa/ Smooth Lufa Luffa cylindrica
